Accurately detects whether the device is in MSC (Mass Storage Controller) mode or Loader/Maskrom mode.

Locate and select your downloaded firmware file (typically named update.img ).

Look at the bottom status bar. It should display or "Found One MASKROM Device" . Go to the Download Image tab.

For those who need more control—perhaps flashing a custom kernel or boot image—use the tab:

Check the tick boxes next to the partitions you want to flash.
